Dillon Hargrove Wins National Title and Coach of the Year
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Kirkwood’s Tim Sandquist has been selected as the NABC Two-Year College Coach of the Year.
Sandquist led Kirkwood to the NJCAA Division II national championship and a 33-3 overall record. The Eagles won 15 of their final 16 games, including a thrilling 55-54 victory over Parkland in the national title matchup. Kirkwood outscored its opponents by an average of 14.5 points per game over the season, and outrebounded its competition by an average of 10.6 per game.
